This recipe is my mom's she has been making them for every holiday since I can remember a few years ago she gave me all of her cookies cutters she said it was to hard for her to make them any more they were my favorite cookies when i was a kid, i still like them I'm sharing the recipe;

SUGAR COOKIES

1 CUP BUTTER

1/2 CUP SUGAR

1 EGG

3 tsp. VANILLA

3 CUPS FLOUR

1/2 tsp. BAKING POWDER

bake at 375

5 TO 7 MIN.

MAKES ABOUT 6 DOZ.
