Thinking about my Mom...

Today I talk to my Mom on the phone and she seem really sad...I love this picture of the Cole girls on a lazy spring morning, before my Mom ever had to go to work she was just our Mom, OK and a wife, sister, daughter and a friend but to us she was our world. this is also one of my mom favorite picture. if i had a wish it would be that our parents would never grow old their minds would stay clear except for maybe they could only remember good thing their kids did! (I miss my Mom and the way she used to be)
My Mom was and is a very pretty lady i was always very proud that she was my mom. This pictures was taken during the time that she use to lay out in the sun after she would get off work and that why she tells you girls to stay out of the sun, but doesn't look great with that tan?
This is Mom and dad visiting her dad after the weekend they got married my mom was only 17 and my dad was 23 they make a very cute couple!

Woke up yesterday to snow, and this morning too. I took this picture at 7:00am this morning sometimes the snow is just beautiful and this morning when i open the door it was...

Tax day at our House...

Josh in his Leather's

Josh's new Hair do, Well not really new it been in the works for about a month now. being his Mom i didn't know he had curly hair well maybe by his ear's he really looks good with it.

Today started out very rainy and i had a Dr's appointment for a check up with the ob any way not the funnest thing for us girls to do any way when i got done with that the sun was coming out and the rest of the day turn out to be really nice, when i got home Nicole help me bring in the groceries and we had a nice talk about boys and life. And Then Josh show up on his Motor bike dress in his leather's and Jessica and Bridget followed in the truck I guess he was testing the ground hog and not being six more weeks of winter (a little Spring fever) he also has the weekend off he was really happy about that. Then Tryell showed up because he had work in the day time and Britaine was still working, it was way cool to see every one! The funny thing is they will all be here Sat. for Taxes day at our house we are having Bryan use his collage skills to get us lots of money back from the government we hope!!!

This recipe is my mom's she has been making them for every holiday since I can remember a few years ago she gave me all of her cookies cutters she said it was to hard for her to make them any more they were my favorite cookies when i was a kid, i still like them I'm sharing the recipe;

SUGAR COOKIES

1 CUP BUTTER

1/2 CUP SUGAR

1 EGG

3 tsp. VANILLA

3 CUPS FLOUR

1/2 tsp. BAKING POWDER

bake at 375

5 TO 7 MIN.

MAKES ABOUT 6 DOZ.

Today I went to Macey's and got my Valentine candy...this is only a small amount of the candy you can buy for Valentine I had to quit looking grab the milk, bread, and some fruit, Ok i got some ice cream checked out the day old treats and then got out of there real fast... I love putting candy in my candy dishes, I just wished it didn't look so good.
later tonight I will be making cookies for when we all get together this saturday. I think I need to go for a long walk then do an hour of exercising, because I have been sneaking into the candy. oh boy the things we women have to do so we can have a cookie mmmmmm...

It's that time of year again when i can't stop thinking about sour cherry balls and cherry moon pie's and chocolate, sugar cookies, kisses... I got out the Valentine hearts i think i've had these forever I know all the kids still lived here when i got them...

Bridget, got to stay with us for a few hours when her mom and Dad went on a date. Her and Aunt Nicole played dolls for a while, Nicole got up her dolls it seem like Nicole was just her age and her dolls are still like new, the doll in this picture cry's and makes sleeping sounds Bridget like her...

A Visit to Grandma and Grandpa Cole's house

The end of Dec. when Crystal and her family were here we went to visit my mom and Dad, we had a nice visit we had ice cream, and my mom show us pictures, she loves her picture's and we love to hear the stories,

and then she gets out here Dean Martin and he sings for us he only play two songs but Cameron was having so much fun pushing the buttom poor old Dean just about quit singing... she has a little dog that sings too... i gave both of them to her...
